“With T.I.’s latest album, Paper Trail, dropping this Tuesday, Thomas and I decided to drop a sample set for our favorite T.I. album — King.  We’ve had this one in the can for some time, but just recently found the sample Just Blaze used in “King Back”, which I thought was crucial to this set.  As far as we know, we’re only missing the sample to the Swizz Beatz produced “Git It”…”

And another Legend leaves this place, R.I.P. Guru!
Just over a month since undergoing surgery following a heart attack, Gang Starr MC Guru (born Keith Elam) has died at age 43. According to a statement, Guru died of cancer-related causes on Monday after a long fight with the disease.
