Detox Gets A Release Date!

Yes, you read the title right, Dr. Dre has given (another) tentative release date for his 3rd studio album, Detox. He has this to say about the up-coming cd, ”I’m just now — over the last couple of months — starting to feel that it’s going to be right and it’s something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it. In a perfect world, I’m shooting for a November or December release.” Dr. Dre mentioned Jay-Z, Nas and Lil Wayne as artists that will appear on Detox and said that once it is out, he will promote it and return to teh studio exclusivly as a producer. Just over a month since undergoing surgery following a heart attack, Gang Starr MC Guru (born Keith Elam) has died at age 43. According to a statement, Guru died of cancer-related causes on Monday after a long fight with the disease.
