Kanye West claims Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke “hurt” his feelings at the Grammys, according to reports.

During the recording of a TV show in the US, the hip-hop star allegedly said that Yorke snubbed him backstage at the music awards show.

West told the audience “that hurt” as he idolises the British band and considers them one of his few creative rivals.

“So when he performed at the Grammys, I sat down,” West said.

Later on in the show, West asked the crowd “Can’t we give Chris a break? … I know I make mistakes in life”.

He was referring to R&B singer Chris Brown who was arrested on the night of the Grammys on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna.
